The Ameda Purely yours is a great breastpump. The suction is great and I am able to express 3-5 oz in about 10 minutes. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because of the breast shields are a little small. If your breast are larger than average you will definitely need the larger breast shields.

I bought this pump prior to having my twins and am so glad. It is quick, portable, battery life is good. It has been essential to keeping breastmilk available to my twins as breastfeeding 2 babies at once is tricky and cannot be done discreetly. Only compliant is that it is loud and the BPA-free pack that you can purchase additionally only comes with 2 bottles, while the original pump came with 6.

I had a low milk supply so I used this pump to stimulate my breasts to make more milk after I nursed my baby. It's easy, keeps the milk clean and easy to clean up. It's not the quietest model. I moved it out of my bedroom so as not to wake my husband. I love the handbag it comes with so I can it back and forth from work rather discretely even though everyone at work knows what's inside the bag.

For a mom-to-be pregnant with twins, I thought purchasing a good hospital grade pump would probably be needed. I was gunghoe on nursing the girls...not to meantion the savings in formula costs. This pump ROCKS! My girls ended up being born 8 weeks early and this allowed me to pump exclusively until the girls were ready to nurse - 3 months later! No need to rent a pump - this is a good as you can get without owning a huge cumbersome hospital unit. Plus, the car adapter was a must with me. I pumped while driving (not sure what the cops would have thought about that - but mom has to do what she has to do). Then it can take batteries - great if you want to take it to the county fair or a sporting event. Plus, it is totally compatible with all hospital pump parts (made by Ameda - my hospital used ameda). Any way - this pump saved me money on formula and it allowed me to get out of the house. Highly recommended and easy to use!
