This pump is overly complicated, hard to clean, and requires frequent replacement partsPosted on 3/22/12
Review by SarahRating This breast pump is awful. It is difficult to assemble and the drawings do not contain enough detail to show which tube connects with which hole. There are multiple small parts which makes it extremely difficult to remember everything if you have to take it back and forth from work every day. You have to physically seal the air flow with your thumb, meaning you will always have at least one hand on the pump — this can make it very difficult if you are like me and need to massage your breast when you pump in order to get milk out. It has these nasty little filters that fill up with breast milk that the instructions very clearly state MUST NOT BE CLEANED. You have to just use them until they clog up with rotting milk. Even if they do not clog, you have to throw them out and buy new ones every three weeks (which is honestly awfully long to have milk sitting there in the device and rotting, even if it does not leak back into the bottle — which I am not sure is guaranteed. I only paid $98 for it but it was not worth it at all. I ended up getting a more expensive, $200 pump that only has three easy to assemble parts, where you can set the speed yourself and the pump continues to pump at the same rate, and where all the parts that touch the milk can be cleaned.

Great valuePosted on 2/15/12
Review by JEBRating I am a working mom and have used this pump through 3 children (1 set of twins), for a year each and think it is a great pump. You use your finger to control the length/speed of the suction. Personally, I really liked this feature because sometimes I need different speeds at different phases of pumping (pre-let down, post-let down). It was nice being able to 'listen' to my body cues and adjust the suction rhythm to fit my needs at that moment. The con of using your finger to control suction is that this pump cannot be used hands free with those hands free pumping bras, which would have been nice sometimes. Pro is the reasonable price (all that baby stuff gets expensive!). My friend also used the pump through her 3 kids and it held up beautifully (we did replace tubing and filters, of course). Overall, this is not as trendy as that 'other' pump, but it is a good value and gets the job done.

Awesome for the pricePosted on 1/10/12
Review by AudreyRating I've tried some of the more expensive pumps with my last two children and wasn't completely satisfied. When my daughter was born I decided to try a more affordable pump. So far this pump is working perfectly. It took a few minutes to get used to the pump, but once I did I started to really like it. I'm also producing more milk than I did with my other, more expensive, pumps. Overall, I am very happy with this pump.

Cheaper than rentingPosted on 11/14/09
Review by Sherry M.Rating I had planned on renting a pump from the hospital but it was a big hassle. Then my best friend loaned me the Bailey Medical Nurture III and all I had to do was buy my own parts to use. This is the greatest thing ever. Being able to borrow a quality pump from a friend was convenient and much less expensive. This pump is easy to use and gives me total control over pumping. I would recommend it to any new breastfeeding mo out there.

Better Than My Friends' More Expensive PumpsPosted on 10/19/09
Review by LeahRating For me this pump really worked! Since I was able to have control of the suction I was able to increase my milk supply and maintain it. In my opinion it works just as good as the more expensive pumps that a lot of my friends use. I can pump out more than they do. I found that massaging my breast while pumping I was able to increase the amount of milk that I was able to put in each sitting.

Good pump, but requires frequent replacement of partsPosted on 10/19/09
Review by Meegan's MommyRating I’ve owned and used this pump for the past year. I like the fact that I am able to control the suction. You just have to put your thumb on and off the top of the breast flange to create the rhythm of the suction. Although the pump offers a good amount of good suction, I find that it has a lot of parts that need to be replaced since I’ve spent quite a bit of money to replace parts every 6 weeks or so. Other than having to replace parts frequently, I feel that this pump was a good purchase for me.
