Mother's Milkmate First In/First Out Storage Rack

I love this system. My husband is a stay at home parent and he never is confused about which bottle in the fridge he should use. I find the bottles attach to my Medela pump perfectly. It doesn't take up much space in the fridge. The bottles have never leaked, even after dozens and dozens of uses and runs through the dishwasher. We have also found that the caps/nipples from the cheapo Gerber bottles fit on the MilkMate bottles without any leakage.

The only thing is that the bottles only mark to 4oz. Not a big issue for us, I just fill to the neck. We also have never freezed these bottles so I do not know how they work in that situation.

A friend turned me onto this product after I complained that the plastic bags I'd been using to store milk were a total mess from the leakage and cumbersome to handle, especially when transferring from the pump bottle to the bag. This system saves me that step and makes the whole concept of `storing milk' a piece of cake. I actually have 2 sets - one that I keep in the fridge and one that I keep in the freezer. I particularly love the `first in, first out' method of retrieval, since the bags had a tendency of co-mingling and I'd have to rummage through, wasting time and getting annoyed. Having an infant is exhausting - I can't believe I even have time to write this review - but I want other moms to know that this product makes life easier. Another blessing is the simple transfer from being able to attach the bottle to the pumping station then to fridge/freezer then to my child - there's no extra bag or liner to hassle with - the same bottle I use to capture the milk is the same bottle I use to feed my baby - what could be better than that?? Especially considering how many times I spilled precious milk onto the counter while trying to pour it into the bag. This is a good one, moms!!! Go for it!
