"I really like this pump because it is comfortable, but it does take longer for me to
pump than I would have hoped. When I was looking for a pump I was more concerned with the
comfort level of the pump because I was a bit freaked out about having a vacuum of sorts
attached to my breasts. This pump doesn’t hurt me at all when I use it. If you need to pump
in a hurry this may not be the best pump for you because it takes me like 20 minutes, however,
I don’t use (and have never tried) the max. speed or suction so that might have something to
do with it."

"I pump twice a day ensure that my daughter receives breastmilk 100% of the time while
I am at work. Before choosing the Embrace I had been torn between the Medela Pump In Style
and the Ameda Purely Yours. Although it was still a fairly new pump, I decided to give it a
try because it had all of the features that I was looking for in a pump.
This pump has been very comfortable for me to use, and I have always been able to get a letdown
pretty quickly when using it, which I think is a result of the massaging action. I really love
that the pump came with extra bags for organizing all of its parts, and that it has a closed
system path that keeps milk out of the tubing.
The motor does tend to be a little noisier than I would like, but it’s not so loud that anyone
can really hear it when my office door is closed.
Overall, I believe this is an excellent pump because it helped me exclusively breastfeed my
daughter for six months."

"After reading some reviews about this pump,I decided to spend the money and give it a try.
I have not been disappointed. Surprisingly, I find that the breast cups fit me very well and are
comfortable even though I am large breasted (34DD). This pump also makes things easier on me because
I can pump directly into a Playtex Nurser.
However, I had already been breastfeeding for a while and had a well established milk supply before
I began using this pump so I am not sure how well it would work during the engorgement period. My
only complaint is the noise level of the motor."

"I purchased the Embrace because a friend told me that it was supposedly a good one. Having never used a pump before I didnt know what to expect. My Playtex Embrace is a very comfortable breast pump. It does have a few design flaws in my opinion. I always end up with a little milk left in the bottle. The breast cup also has a groove where milk also gets trapped. Because of this it can be a bit of a challenge to clean everything properly."

"I really like this pump because I am able to express the same amount of milk as I do with my
electric pump. However, there are a couple of things about this pump that are not so great. When
I’m finished pumping milk always seems to drip from the breast cup, and even when the bottle is
screwed on well I find that milk leaks through the threads if the pump is tipped over. Other than
the leaking problems, this pump is very easy to use."

"I chose this pump because it was the most reasonably priced double pump that had all of the
features I was looking for. I really like the way it is designed to prevent contamination between
the breastmilk and motor, it makes clean up very simple. I also like the 3 suction levels, in the
beginning the middle strength worked the best, but now I have progressed to the strongest. My only
complaint is that although you can use a variety of bottles with this pump, you cannot pump directly
into Avent bottles; however, I got an Avent conversion kit, which allows me to use this pump with my
Avent bottles, and it really isn’t a big inconvenience."
