Simplisse creates products that make milk expression more comfortable so that breastfeeding moms are able to provide the benefits of breastmilk to their children for longer periods. Unlike traditional breast pumps, the Simplisse Breastfeeding Companions do not use a suck-and-release action that can pinch, tug and cause discomfort. These Breastfeeding Companions help to express milk naturally by mimicking the sucking motion and feeding pressure of a baby. This alternative milk expression action is made possible by the Continuous Comfort Valve and Baby Face Flexible Membrane.

Product development of the Simplisse line was led by Clinical Director Dr. Jimi Francis, PhD, IBCLC. In addition to providing mothers with quality breastfeeding and milk expression products, Simplisse works in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) Codes on breastfeeding.
