The Ameda Elite breastpump is an excelent pump for breastfeeding. I was introduced to one in the hospital and since I had twins I was told that it would probably be best for me to buy one to use when I left the hospital.
I used mine for about 5 months before I started with formula suplements. The Elite is a great machine I just wish it were a little smaller so it could travel well.
When I add up the cost that formula would have cost this pump pays for itself in a few short months.

I am happy with the output of my Elite breastpump. I bought it after I read that the Elite beat out all other hospital grade pumps in a study.

Answer	:	The suction strength of the Ameda Elite ranges between 0 mmHg and 220 mmHg depending on which setting you choose. And the suction strength of the Ameda Purely Yours ranges between 100 mmHg and 220 mmHg depending on which setting you choose.

Answer	:	The Ameda Elite breast pumps come with a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. The period of coverage starts on the date of purchase. After the 3 years of warranty coverage, you can still have the pump repaired and/or serviced; however, you will have to pay for the services.
