Review by ClarissaRating There is a reason that hospitals use this pump: it's simply the best pump out there. When I tried a different, less pricy pump, I developed water blisters on one nipple. OUCH!! Switched to the Ameda and used a low cycle for a few days - blisters gone, nipples no longer sore! This pump is worth the money.

Review by Sharron M.Rating The Ameda Elite breastpump is an excelent pump for breastfeeding. I was introduced to one in the hospital and since I had twins I was told that it would probably be best for me to buy one to use when I left the hospital.
I used mine for about 5 months before I started with formula suplements. The Elite is a great machine I just wish it were a little smaller so it could travel well.
When I add up the cost that formula would have cost this pump pays for itself in a few short months. -
