Great occasional pumpPosted on 2/4/10
Review by Anna's MomRating This is the pump they gave me at the hospital when my daughter was born.
Pros:
It is super easy to put together and clean afterwards.
The suction is easy to manipulate with the one handed pump mechanism.
I have used it 2-3 times a week for 3+ months without any problems. The original valve continues to work great.
You can actually clip on and use bags verses the bottle that comes with it. (although it does take some practice taking them off when full)
Cons: A little long to pump one side while feeding from the other. It can be done, just takes a bit of adjusting.
Would definitely recommend it for the primarily breast feeding mom that pumps occasionally. -
This is a great manual ...Posted on 11/6/09
Review by nicoleRating This is a great manual pump. It has very few parts and is really easy to put together and clean. I like that it is BPA free so I don't have to worry about chemicals getting in my breastmilk. Also, I am able to get as much milk out with this manual as I was with another brand of electric breast pump. My hand doesn't get tired because of how the handle is situated. I trust Ameda products and am not surprised to be pleased with this product.

Great Pump!Posted on 9/7/09
Review by Niki's MomRating This is a good one hand pump. I have used the Medela pump in the past, but it is difficult to use with one hand. If you are trying to take advantage of baby nursing on one side and pumping the other, this pump works perfectly. The quality isn't on the high end, but it definitely does the job and I prefer it over my Medela hand pump.
