The Philips Avent Niplette is a non-invasive device that is clinically proven to permanently correct flat and inverted nipples without effecting lactation. After using the Niplette, mothers are able to breastfeed comfortably and successfully.

In addition to using the Niplette before or during pregnancy, it may also be used for a few minutes before each feeding. This will help to draw out your nipple so that your baby can latch on more easily.

How does the Niplette work?

It is comprised of a transparent nipple mold with a syringe port. The Niplette slowly draws out the nipple by applying gentle yet sustained suction onto the inverted nipple. Suction is created by using the included syringe to withdraw air from the nipple mold. Since the suction is created manually, you are able to control the amount to ensure that use of the Niplette is comfortable. For best results, the Niplette should be worn for 8 consecutive hours.

Please consult with your doctor prior to using the Niplette for any nipple inversion that is recent and not congenital.

Each Philips Avent Niplette package includes 2 thimble-shaped molds with valve components, 2 plastic syringes (that act as a suction device), and instructional video.

*The Niplette should not be used during the third trimester of pregnancy. Increased nipple stimulation during the third trimester can cause premature labor.
